If you want to be a teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and you are looking for information to start your professional career as a teacher, the school La Duncaniana Danza is a specialized and approved center to train and perform the compulsory practices of the CBTS in our own center.
To obtain the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, you need as a prerequisite to have passed the Intermediate course of classical dance, if not, you can prepare and take the exam in our own center, once passed this exam (exam danced 2nd course of RAD professional) you can continue with your training that will be tutored by the mentor and director of the school Monica Montañana, registered teacher nº 141303 since 1997 and licensed in pedagogy for classical dance by the Conservatory of Dance in Valencia.
The Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (faculty – CBTS) is a two-year distance learning program. In the second year, you will carry out the practical teaching of the program, with the support of your RAD mentor.
When you complete the contents of the program, you will be able to obtain the Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies and the possibility of registering as a teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance and thus being able to present your own students to the RAD examinations anywhere in the world.
